Graduated from the University of Kentucky summa cum laude in May 2018 with dual degrees in Political Science and Psychology with a minor in Japan Studies.
Experience
I have tutored for several years now, and was most recently employed by the University of Kentucky at one of the largest tutoring centers on campus. As an undergraduate, I worked 20 or more hours a week, tutoring both individuals and groups across a variety of disciplines (with a specific focus on written, oral, visual, and digital communications) in addition to maintaining a 4. 0 GPA. I have worked primarily with university students and graduates, but I feel more than comfortable working with folks of all age groups and backgrounds. In addition to my work as a tutor, I co-instructed an orientation class for several semesters. I have on record an ACT score of 31 (35 English, 31 Reading, 30 Math, 30 Science) and an SAT score of 2050 (630 Critical Reading, 730 Math, 690 Writing). My experience has equipped me with the tools necessary to effectively communicate with my clients and adjust my approach based on their needs so we can work together to ensure their personal successes.
