I earned my bachelor's degree in Spanish language and literature from the Honors Tutorial College of Ohio University. I also have my sights set on becoming a Spanish professor. As for my tutoring experience, I currently help students learn Spanish, and I also teach English as a second language. I possess two years of experience in both positions. Additionally, I teach Spanish to elementary school students. I'm drawn to mentoring and tutoring because I enjoy exploring original and innovative ways to break down elaborate topics to students. I'm adept at working with beginners to advanced students. I am also interested in working with students who are writing Spanish term papers or learning Spanish literature. But no matter what abilities my students have, I believe in working from the fundamentals to build a knowledge base that will help them learn independently. I can accomplish this by providing an engaging learning environment where I encourage and communicate with my students. I believe it's important to identify struggles early on so I can address these issues while helping to boost my students' confidence. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy literature, history, art, foreign languages, and music. I also play the guitar, browse Reddit, and play Minecraft the video game.
